Dear Parent or Guardian:

In order to provide students with the skills to succeed academically, the middle school is starting an academic Late Stay program. As we progress this school year, staff will be referring students who are “at risk” of not being successful in respective subject area (s). This program allows students to stay after school and receive help with school work. Certified instructional staff are making themselves available to supervise the Late Stay and will be able to assist students with their academics. It should be understood that this will not be a “cure all” program. This is a program that has been designated to provide assistance to those students who are “at risk” of not being successful. This service will be available on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s from 3:05-4:30 PM throughout the school year. If your child needs transportation, the school district will provide your child with transportation home. We would like your support and cooperation by encouraging your child to participate in the Late Stay program.
