The summer break that seemed so far away last August is now upon us. The successful school year that we have experienced is due to the cooperative efforts of our students, their families, and our faculty and staff. Please accept my thanks and congratulations to all of these individuals for their contributions to Argenta – Oreana High School throughout this past year.

We are very proud of the accomplishments of our students. As a society, we seem to be inundated with negative news on a daily basis. It is refreshing to see all of the GREAT things that our students are doing. Throughout the year, our students have not only fulfilled the day to day responsibilities of being students, but they have also made positive contributions to our community—mentoring younger students, donating blood through the Red Cross, volunteering in numerous capacities, participating in the Angel Tree program at Christmas, and donating proceeds from Spring Fling to Pennies for Patients. These are but a few examples of the great things our students are doing.

To our graduates: thank you for being a part of A-OHS, and good luck as you move on to the next step of your lives. You are now part of the family of Argenta – Oreana High School Alumni. To our incoming freshmen, and returning sophomores, juniors, and seniors: have a safe summer and know that you can achieve whatever you dream.

Have a great summer! We are already looking forward to an outstanding school year in 08-09!
