The summer break that seemed so far away last August is now upon us. The successful school year that we have experienced is due to the cooperative efforts of our students, their families, and our faculty and staff. Please accept my thanks, and congratulations to all of these individuals for their contributions to Argenta – Oreana High School throughout this past year.

We are very proud of the accomplishments of our students. As a society we seem to be inundated with negative news on a daily basis. It is refreshing for me to see all of the GREAT things that our students are doing. Throughout the year, our students have not only fulfilled the day to day responsibilities of being students, but they have also made positive contributions to our community by mentoring younger students, donating blood through the Red Cross, and volunteering in numerous capacities. These are but a few examples of the great things our students are doing.

To our graduates: thank you for being a part of AOHS, and good luck as you move on to the next step of your lives. You are now part of the family of Argenta – Oreana High School Alumni. To our incoming freshmen, and returning sophomores, juniors, and seniors: have a safe summer and know that you can achieve whatever you dream.

I would also like to extend my sincere congratulations and thanks to two of our high school instructors who will be leaving us to begin their retirement at the conclusion of this school year. Mrs. Krapf and Mr. Saunches have served the students of Argenta – Oreana High School in outstanding fashion over their years of teaching. They have touched many lives over the years and the positive impact they have made is immeasurable. If you are one of those lives, please join me in congratulating them and thanking them.

Have a great summer! We are already looking forward to an outstanding school year in 10-11!
