Parents are invited to stop by the Parent Place any time to check out books, magazines, videos and other resources we have available for families. Office hours for the Parent Place are Monday 8:15-10:00 a.m.; Tuesday 8:15-10:00 a.m.; Wednesday 1:30-2:45 p.m.; Thursday 8:15-10:00 a.m., plus any time you see the Welcome Banner hanging on our porch.

Upcoming Events:
March 4 – Lapsit, 9:30-10:15 a.m. at the Oreana Library. Our theme for this month is “Hats,
Hats, Hats!”

March 12 – Coffee Chat, 9:30-11:00 a.m. at the Parent Place. We will be discussing the
importance of having a will. Babysitting will be provided.

March 16 – Morning Playgroup, 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Parent Place. Our theme is “Lions,
Tigers, and Bears…Oh My!”

March 16 – Afternoon Playgroup, 4:00-5:00 p.m. at the Parent Place. Our theme is “Lions,
Tigers, and Bears…Oh My!”

March 16 – Great Expectations, 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Parent Place. This is a support group for
“expecting” and “new” parents. All are welcome. Babysitting will be provided.

March 25 – Preschool Screening, 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 1:00-2:30 p.m. at the Elementary School.

March 26 – Preschool Screening, 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 noon at the Elementary School.

March 29 – Dad’s Night, 6:15-7:15 p.m. at the Elementary School. Pre-K students and children
ages 0-3 will have an evening of fun with Dad. If Dad can’t make it, please invite
Grandpa, an uncle, or a family friend. There will be NO babysitting for siblings.

* In case of inclement weather, if school is cancelled, all Parent Place activities are cancelled. If you have any questions, please call the Parent Place at 468-2886.
