Welcome
to A-O Elementary
Welcome
to the Argenta-Oreana Elementary web page! We appreciate
your interest in our school. I believe in an open door
policy and encourage anyone with questions to please
call my office. I am so proud to be the principal of
this great school. I have been in education for 29 years
and simply love it. This is my 12th year as the Argenta-Oreana
Elementary Principal. Prior to being principal here I
taught science, health and physical education.
Our
elementary school offers a variety of learning experiences
for the Pre-K through 5th grade classrooms. The teachers
continue to explore new and innovative ways to teach
the children the basic academic subjects. Our ISAT scores
in math and reading continue to be above the state average.
I am very proud of our teacher’s efforts to work
together as a team to prepare our students to be successful
in middle school, high school and beyond.
Our
teachers are highly qualified and continue their professional
development through conferences and graduate coursework.
Please
get involved with your child’s education. Read
with your child at least 20 minutes every night. Volunteer
in your child’s classroom or in our library.
PATT (Parents and Teacher Together) is a tremendous
organization to be involved with. They meet the second
Tuesday of every month at 7:00 P.M. in the Betty Albright
Library at the elementary school.
