NOTE ABOUT SUMMER SCHOOL FOR PARENTS & STUDENTS:
A total of two units of credit will be accepted toward graduation from Argenta-Oreana High School for off-campus course work. Credits may be generated from Saturday school and summer school for remediation only. Any amount of college work may be taken for credit and held in escrow. Mt Zion High School
Final date for registration is May 11.
Out of district students are accepted on a space available basis.

Consumer Education ($75 – ¼ credit)

English Survey ($150 – ½ credit)

Math Survey (Pre-Algebra, Algebra I or Algebra II)

Monticello High School

Monticello will offer make-up English and Algebra I classes during summer school this year. These classes are for students who have failed at least one semester of Freshman English or one semester of Algebra I. Students will earn ½ credit per subject.

Both classes will be held at Monticello High School from Wednesday, June 6th to Tuesday, June 26th. English classes will be held from 8 a.m. to noon. Algebra students will meet from 12:30-4:30 p.m. A minimum enrollment of 20 students per class is required for the class to be offered.

The fee is $125 per student. Checks should be made to Monticello High School and are due by June 6th. Priority will be given to Monticello HS students. After the class maximum has been reached, students will be placed on a waiting list. For questions, call 762-8511 extension 1214.

Warrensburg-Latham High School

WLHS summer school courses cost $250 each. They are offering Math June 5-27 8:00-12:00, Science June 28-July 25 8:00-12:00, and English June 5-27 12:30-4:00 p.m. In district students get first priority; after May 14, any leftover spaces will be offered to out-of-district students. Meridian High School (Macon)

Meridian High School is offering summer school courses in math and English only.
Classes meet from 8:00 a.m. to Noon for each of the 17 weekdays of each session (May 31-June 21 or July 9-31.) The total time is equivalent to one semester of a course and worth ½ credit. Each summer school day is approximately equal to one week of regular school time, and students should therefore plan not to miss any of the 17 days of the session. If a student does not arrive by 8:00 a.m. with no prior explanation, a parent will be contacted to determine the location and status of the student. Call Al Scheider, Meridian High School counselor and summer school administrator at 764-5421 for any questions regarding summer school.

First session: May 30-June 21 Cost: $125 Subjects: Algebra I (2nd sem)

Second session: July 9-31 Cost: $125 Subjects: English
