We have an early dismissal today, April 17th. Elementary students will dismiss at 2:00 pm and Middle/High School students will dismiss at 2:15 pm. There will be no Late Stay at the elementary school today.
As a reminder, there will be no school on Friday, April 18th and Monday, April 21st, 2025. We look forward to welcoming students back on Tuesday, April 22nd. Enjoy the four-day weekend!

Due to the extremely dangerous wind chill that is forecast for tomorrow morning, Argenta-Oreana CUSD #1 has cancelled school for Tuesday, January 21st.
Decisions on afternoon practices and evening sports will be provided tomorrow.

Due to the dangerous road conditions and continuing forecast for inclement weather and high winds tonight and tomorrow, the School Improvement Day (SIP) scheduled for tomorrow, Monday, January 6th has been rescheduled for Tuesday, January 7th. As a result, students will return to school on Wednesday, January 8th.
There will be no student attendance on Monday or Tuesday.

Due to the ongoing water pressure issues in Argenta, AOCUSD #1 schools will be taking an emergency day today, Wednesday, December 4, 2024.
The extremely low water pressure issues leave us with no operational toilets and impacts our ability to prepare meals.
We understand that the Village of Argenta has been working all night to try and resolve the issue. We appreciate their efforts and their ongoing updates.
Decisions regarding after school activities will be made when we have more information.

Welcome Back!!
The annual sports meeting for Argenta Oreana Middle School and Argenta Oreana High School will take place on August 13th at 7:00 to coincide with Open House at both Buildings. The meeting will be in the cafeteria and is required for anyone who plans on participating in a sport throughout the 24-25 school year.
Two-TIme Wrld Series Champion Scott Spiezio of Spiezio Baseball was in today and delivered a great message on the dangers of Drugs and Alcohol use to our students. Thank you Mr. Spiezio for the wonderful presentation!!!!

Please be advised that Argenta-Oreana schools are cancelled tomorrow, Monday, January 22, due to the severe risk of icy roads in the morning and the dangers that this may cause for our transportation department and students/staff driving to school.
Additional communication regarding the status of extra-curricular events for tomorrow may be provided later.
